Boy Meets World Challenge

Ok, usually I think these things are pretty dumb.
I don't really care about them.

I was reading a blog the other day though
that had this one in it and I thought it
was pretty sweet so I decided to do it.
Not over 30 days though.
Who has time for that?

So here is my entire challenge
in one blog post.

FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER

ERIC MATTHEWS

No brainer.
(No pun intended)

FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER

TOPANGA LAWRENCE

In all seriousness, none of the girls
were that great.
But she was the one that kinda
held things together for everyone.

FAVORITE BOY MEETS WORLD SEASON

SEASON SIX

Cory and Topangas struggle with
getting married.
Trips to Wyoming to see
Feeny.
Rachels introduction which ensues
a battle between Eric and Jack.
Cory thinking he's average.
The wedding ring episode.
The fiancee game.
Silk sheets and pajamas.
Shawns dad passing away.
New baby brother.
Eric and Tommy.
Cory dreaming about killing Shawn.
Feeny and the Dean getting married.

All of these moments, funny and sad,
really made season six the best
season for Boy Meets World.

SHAWN OR CORY?

This is too tough to decide.

Shawn was always my favorite
as a young en.
He was always there for Cory even
though he had so many problems.
His struggle with his life really made sense
and was eye opening, unlike the teen
dramas of today.
Who gets pregnant, addicted to coke,
expelled and cheated on fifteen times
in one season?

Cory had a ridiculous sense of humor
and everything he said was just so funny.
He was crazy and was always dedicated to
Topanga.

To choose between the two of them would
be wrong.
You can't have one without the other.
They were the first bromance I can
remember.

ERIC OR JACK?

ERIC MATTHEWS

This is a dumb question.
Although Jack was important
to the TV show, through his relationship
Eric and Shawn,
he hardly comes close to my love
for Eric.

TOPANGA, ANGELA, OR RACHEL?

RACHEL

Really only because of the
feud she causes with Jack and Eric.
That was pretty amusing.
But like I said, none of the girls
are too memorable.

MR. FEENY OR MR. TURNER?

MR. FEENY

This is an easy one.
No one had more wisdom
and epic things to say than Mr. Feeny.
He taught me some very valuable
lessons that man.

FAVORITE SEASON ONE EPISODE

SHE LOVES ME, SHE LOVES ME NOT

Eric appears in Mr. Feeny's class as a guest speaker
to talk about the kids' futures in high school,
but he does not tell them the whole truth: that they are about
to leave a sheltered life for the real world. Meanwhile,
Topanga develops a crush on Eric,
but Cory gets the impression that her affections
are directed at him. Topanga's sister Nebbie is
seen in this episode, but she is
not mentioned again in later episodes.

Not sure why, it's just pretty funny.

FAVORITE "SHIP"

ERIC AND MR. FEENY

Although Cory and Topanga have an
amusing relationship, and Cory
and Shawn have a bromance,
this just has to go to Eric and Mr. Feeny.

FAVORITE SEASON TWO EPISODE

SISTER THERESA

Cory wins a girl's heart with a little politeness -
but he better stay respectful, because she's
Harley Keiner's kid sister, who never takes
no for an answer.

FAVORITE CORY AND TOPANGA MOMENT

Even though they seemed to have an almost
perfect relationship, they had all kinds
of hardships.
Getting an apartment together is no easy feat,
especially when you are young and can't afford
a nice one.
This was a real test for their relationship.

FAVORITE SEASON THREE EPISODE
TRAIN OF FOOLS

Due to circumstances they would prefer to forget,
Eric, Cory, Shawn, and Topanga celebrate New Years Eve
in a stranded subway car.

FAVORITE SHAWN AND ANGELA MOMENT

Meh, I never really cared for them together
so I'd have to go with none really.

FAVORITE SEASON FOUR MOMENT

CHICK LIKE ME

FAVORITE ERIC MOMENT

There are so many....
Either the episode where he tries to sneak
attack Topanga and hides in the couch,
or where he dresses up as a woman.

FAVORITE SEASON FIVE EPISODE
ERIC HOLLYWOOD

When Eric's shoddy set design injures the star
of the college play,
Eric assumes his role. After a surprisingly superb
Shakespearean acting debut, Eric is invited to join
Kid Gets Acquainted With The Universe.
But when he arrives at the studio,
he discovers that the shallow, egotistical, and neurotic actors
(played by the cast of Boy Meets World)
are not at all like their roles. Meanwhile,
Topanga tries to salvage her relationship with Shawn,
who's not sure he can remain friends with both her and
Cory in the wake of their breakup,
after he and Jack come down with chicken pox

FAVORITE JACK MOMENT

Probably the episode where he dresses
as a woman too.
He was the "pretty one",
and his over compensating at the end was
quite comical.

FAVORITE SEASON SIX EPISODE

GETTING HITCHED

Cory and Topanga play "The Fiancée Game" to prove how
compatible they are, and are appalled when
Eric and Rachel prove to know far more
about each other than they do.
Topanga suggests a quick solution: they should live
together on campus, and really get to know each other.
(Cory mistakenly thinks this means sex, and buys silk pajamas and sheets.)
Living together shows them sides of each other
that they're not too crazy about: for example,
his big toe clipping flies across the room, and lodges in her already-applied
facial cream. Meanwhile, Shawn has ignored Jack's repeated
calls about clearing out Chet's trailer, and once persuaded,
is freshly outraged to discover evidence that Chet
went to Jack's stepfather for help in financing Shawn's
college education. He decides to take the trailer
"out on the open road", and convinces Cory to accompany
him for the weekend, but oddly insists on saying goodbye to
Topanga. Then, Jack, who has been struggling to
contain his own grief in deference to Shawn's feelings,
falls apart, and cries helplessly in Rachel's arms -
and Eric walks in to find them kissing passionately.

This episode has pretty much everything.

FAVORITE RACHEL MOMENT

FAVORITE SEASON SEVEN EPISODE

SEVEN THE HARD WAY

After a war of pranks goes too far and threatens to
break up the old gang, Feeny steps in to help mend fences.
But he finds that even his intervention may not be enough
to reunite the once tight group. Eric defines the problem:
"Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself";
if they cannot reunite now, they never may.
Once this is realized, everyone puts aside their
differences and happily reconcile.

This is the episode with Plays with Squirrels.
Nothing funnier.

FAVORITE MATTHEWS FAMILY MOMENT

It's hard to pick just one.
I think the Matthews family as a whole
is just my favorite.
They were the best 90's sitcom family.
And yes I say this knowing full well
some of you are yelling "Full House!"
But screw your Full House.

FAVORITE FEENY MOMENT

Agian it's hard to pick just one.
He always had good moments.

A QUOTE

"Lose one friend, lose all friends,
lose yourself."
Nothing else seemed important.

A FAN PICTURE OR VIDEO

I've pretty much done that this whole time,
but here are some more.

AN EPISODE THAT MADE YOU CRY

There were a few that did.
But I'd have to say the worst one
was where Eric couldn't adopt
Tommy.

AN EPISODE THAT MADE YOUR HEART BURST WITH HAPPINESS

IT'S ABOUT TIME

Cory and Topangas wedding.
Obviously.

AN EPISODE THAT MADE YOU THINK

THE WAR

A fierce prank war ensues after Cory and Shawn
diss Rachel (Shawn parks in her parking spot).
Cory, Shawn and Topanga takes on Rachel, Angela and Jack,
with Eric acting as a "neutral spy." But as the war escalates,
it ends up bringing hidden troubles to the surface,
and may break up this once tight-knit group forever.

The next episode is the one with Feeny's
retirement party in the "future".
Seeing such a tight nit group of friends
lose it like that and having the stupidest one
define the problem was eye opening.
It makes you think that even the biggest of
problems has the simplest answer.
You just have to look past your anger to find it.

FAVORITE MIDDLE SCHOOL MOMENT

Self explanitory.

FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MOMENT

Cory runs off to Disney world to tell Topanga
how he feels about her.

FAVORITE COLLEGE MOMENT

Cory and Topanga move in together and Cory buys
silk pajamas with silk sheets.
After Topanga tells him she doesn't
want to have sex he slides off the bed.

WOW.
That took forever and  now I
regret the three days I spent
on it.
That's ok, it was fun watching all the youtube
videos.

Hope you all enjoyed it.
